There are so many things on this list that shouldn’t be on here.

I miss my 9-3. Not a Viggen, but still. What a quirky little Sweedish meatball.

I give the Porsche a maybe... the rest... eh.

Do you have any data to back these up, or is it just a collection of cars you like?

And, because Muscle Mercury.

Its like the author deliberately chose the most ‘jalop’ options he could find in order to get positive feedback.

There was no ‘95 Corrado. ‘93 was the last year produced, I think some were sold as ‘94s. Also, when you look up “Torque Steer” in the dictionary, there’s a picture of a Viggen. They change lanes under boost. It’s hilarious fun, I’d have a 5-door.

Looked for one of these, but couldn’t find one under 10k. “Settled” on a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 (same engine, but FWD), and couldn’t be happier.

I saw a W8 wagon pass by my house yesterday! It makes me wonder if it is the same guy that has the lifted TDI new Beetle.

I was always fascinated by the 1.8L V6 in these, which is the smallest production V6 ever made. Not especially powerful, only 145hp at its best, but still pretty cool.

I want them all!

That page shows ‘94 as the last US model year. I didn’t know they carried on for another year elsewhere though, that’s kind of cool.

Yeah, I kind of love that car, too. Not actually the smallest V6, though, as Mitsubishi had a 1.6L V6 in the 90’s. And Lancia’s first V6 in the Aurelia was 1.7. It would have been interesting if Mazda had put that motor with its wide power band in a Miata.

Good catch. Its
among
the smallest v6s. I do think it was the smallest brought to north America though.

Yeah, I doubt any of those first generation Aurelias were exported across the Atlantic. The Mitsubishi, and most likely the Mazda as well, were built so small for Japanese tax purposes.

I’ll be doing a piece on a local 1-of-200 Quad-4 manual Cutlass like that pretty soon. It’s fantastic. Keep your eyes out!

They did weird crap like that. Cabriolets went on through ‘93 in Yurrp while our last one was ‘92. They must not have had the new Mk3 ready yet.
